The Problem
Starting from a very young age, gender associations limit what girls think is possible for themselves.
The automative industry and Mercedes-Benz have been lagging behind when it comes to gender inclusivity, however, Mercedes-Benz’s history is full of women with incredible accomplishments.

Ewy Rosqvist
Using a piece of our history to inspire the future.
We told the story of Ewy Rosqvist - a female racing champion in the 60’s who was the first woman to win a Grand Prix. We then partnered with Matchbox to transform her car into a toy car for girls, which is now on sale in over 40 countries.

The Curriculum:
We didn’t stop at just making Ewy’s car. We turned her story into a lesson plan that we rolled out in classrooms in 26 states.
