Client: Northwell Health

The Fin is the first ever amphibious prosthetic, designed to help more than 2 million veteran amputees swim again. It has been recognized as one the of Time Magazine Inventions of the year.

As one of the largest hospital systems in the world, Northwell Health is committed to life- changing breakthroughs. So when we heard that 6% of veterans return home as amputees, we fostered a cross-industry collaboration between prosthetic scientists, 3D printing experts and aerospace engineers, our team addressed an unmet need in the prosthetic market.
